WebJun 22, 2024 · Took this ferry both to and from Orkney. The route was from Scrabster to Stromness. This is the only trip that takes you past The Old Man of Hoy. That's this towering 450 foot sea stack is quite a sight! The food on the ferry is quite good, they are very efficient in getting people and cars on and off, and the people are friendly.
